This is a working draft assembled from the business's own FAQ content. It is not legal advice and should be checked by a solicitor before the site goes live.
Who controls your data
Proworks Ltd is the data controller for information collected through this website. You can contact us at info@proworksltd.co.uk or 07487578110 about anything on this page.
What we collect and why
When you request a quote we collect your name, email address, phone number, the collection address, details of the waste, and any access notes or photos you provide. We use this to price the job, arrange the collection, and give the crew what they need to carry it out.
If you begin a quote and do not finish it, we keep what you have entered so we can pick up where you left off and, where you have given us contact details, follow up about your enquiry. Tell us if you would rather we did not.
We only send marketing email if you have ticked the box asking for it. You can withdraw that at any time by replying to any message or emailing us.
Legal basis
We process enquiry and booking information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and to perform that contract. We keep records of waste transfers because we are legally required to. Marketing email is sent on the basis of your consent.
Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary: our hosting and email providers, and — where legally required for waste transfer documentation — the licensed waste facility receiving your waste. We do not sell your data or share it for anyone else's marketing.
How long we keep it
Quotes and job records are kept for six years to meet accounting and waste duty-of-care obligations. Unconverted enquiries are kept for two years and then deleted. Photos you send are deleted once the job is complete and invoiced, unless we need them for a dispute.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, or object to how we are using it. Email info@proworksltd.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This site sets a small number of strictly necessary cookies: one to keep your in-progress quote attached to your browser as you move between steps, and one to keep staff signed into the admin area. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
